Charles Leclerc, born October 16, 1997, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, is a Monégasque Formula 1 driver for Scuderia Ferrari. Son of a former racer, he started karting at age 7, winning the French Cadet title in 2009. Progressing swiftly, he claimed GP3 (2016) and Formula 2 (2017) championships. Debuting in F1 with Sauber in 2018, he joined Ferrari in 2019, becoming its youngest driver in 50 years. With 8 GP wins, including Spa 2019 and Monza 2022, he finished runner-up in the 2022 Drivers' Championship. Racing for his late father and mentor Jules Bianchi, Leclerc's raw speed and composure make him a title favorite.

Known for his speed, consistency, and advocacy for diversity, he races for Ferrari in 2025, chasing an eighth title.
