Lance Stroll is a Canadian Formula 1 driver currently racing for the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team. Born on October 29, 1998, in Montreal, he is the son of billionaire Lawrence Stroll, whose involvement in F1 helped secure Lance’s early opportunities. He began karting at age five and quickly progressed through the ranks, winning titles like the Italian F4 Championship (2014), Toyota Racing Series (2015), and FIA Formula 3 European Championship (2016). Stroll made his F1 debut with Williams in 2017, becoming the second-youngest driver to earn a podium with a third-place finish in Azerbaijan. He joined Racing Point in 2019, which later became Aston Martin, and has since delivered strong performances including three career podiums and a pole position at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix. Known for his calm style and ability in wet conditions, Stroll has shown steady improvement, even as questions about his place in F1 continue due to his family ties. As of 2025, he races alongside Fernando Alonso and remains a central part of Aston Martin’s future, having extended his contract through 2026.
