As the half-brother of nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, Marini grew up immersed in the world of motorcycle racing, which helped shape his passion and talent from a young age. He began his professional career in the Moto3 and Moto2 classes, achieving multiple podiums and race wins, and finishing as the runner-up in the 2020 Moto2 World Championship with the Sky Racing Team VR46. In 2021, he made his debut in MotoGP with the Sky VR46 Avintia Racing Team and later joined the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, demonstrating consistent progress and adaptability in the premier class.
