Islamabad: Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on the 22nd of April, where 26 innocent civilians, including tourists, were killed. The Indian government has accused Pakistan of being involved in this horrific incident, and in response, it is taking several aggressive measures against Pakistan.

Some of the strong measures include the cancellation of the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, the evacuation order for Pakistanis residing in India, and the closure of the Attari-Wagah border. Additionally, security along India's borders is being fortified, with military personnel deployed in key border areas. This has resulted in rising war tensions in the region.

In the midst of this, reports have surfaced that Pakistani soldiers are leaving the army in large numbers, fearing possible retaliation from India. In the last four days, around 1,200 Pakistani soldiers have abruptly resigned, with sources revealing that even officers have stepped down. The Pakistani government has yet to officially acknowledge these resignations.

Letters circulating on social media reportedly written to the Home Ministry highlight these resignations. Sources suggest that internal conflicts within the Pakistan Army, financial difficulties, and other personal issues have contributed to this sudden exodus of military personnel.

The situation remains tense, and the region's security is under intense scrutiny.
