Vidyut Jammwal is a celebrated Indian actor, martial artist, and producer, primarily known for his work in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. Born on 10 December 1980 in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, Vidyut comes from a Rajput family with a strong military background, as his father served in the Indian Army. From the age of three, he trained rigorously in Kalaripayattu, the traditional martial art of Kerala, under the guidance of his mother. This early training laid the foundation for his signature action style and exceptional physical abilities. Vidyut made his film debut with the Telugu movie Sakthi (2011), followed by his Bollywood debut in Force (2011). Initially cast in antagonist roles, he quickly became known for his authentic action sequences and intense on-screen presence. His breakthrough as a lead actor came with the Commando (2013) franchise, which established him as one of India’s most skilled action heroes. He has also appeared in notable films like Billa II (Tamil), Thuppakki (Tamil), Anjaan, Baadshaho, Commando 2, Commando 3, Sanak, Yaara, and Khuda Haafiz.
