T A Madhuram was a pioneering Indian actress and playback singer in the Tamil film industry. She gained fame for her expressive performances in both comedic and dramatic roles. She made her film debut in Rathnavali in 1935 and later appeared in over 40 films including Ambikapathy 1937, Sivakavi 1943, Haridas 1944, Alibabavum 40 Thirudargalum 1941, Raja Desingu 1960, and Arasilankumari 1961. Madhuram often collaborated with her husband N S Krishnan forming one of Tamil cinemas most beloved comedy duos. Known for her natural acting style and expressive eyes, she also contributed to the industry as a film producer. Her daughter Ramya NSK continued the artistic legacy as a playback singer. Show less
