Shalini is a talented Indian actress who worked predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. She began her acting journey as a child artist and quickly became one of the most loved faces in South Indian films. Shalini made her debut as a lead actress in the Malayalam film Aniyathi Pravu in 1997 which became a massive hit. In Tamil cinema she gained immense popularity through her roles in Alaipayuthey and Piriyadha Varam Vendum. Known for her expressive performances and graceful screen presence she won several awards during her short yet memorable acting career.
