Vanisri is a celebrated Indian actress known for her work in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She gained immense popularity during the 1960s 1970s and early 1980s for her versatile performances and strong screen presence. Vanisri made her acting debut in the mid 1960s and quickly became one of the most sought after actresses of her era. She starred in numerous films across South Indian languages primarily Telugu and Tamil and delivered several blockbuster hits. She acted alongside legendary actors such as N T Rama Rao Akkineni Nageswara Rao Sivaji Ganesan and M G Ramachandran.
