Nageshwaran Rao was born on 27 September 1933 in Dharapuram. He was an actor and comedian who worked mainly in the Tamil film industry. He acted in more than 1,000 films in a variety of roles, including leading roles , comedian, supporting actor, and antagonist. He also acted in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The nickname Nagesh was "King of Comedy" due to his comedic timing and body language. Manamulla Marudhaaram gave him his first break in a film that was directed by Balaji. He died on 31 January 2009 (75age) due to a heart ailment and diabetes. On May 6 2013, the Government of India released a postage stamp honoring the actor Nagesh.Cheyur Krishna Rao Nageshwaran
