Abhirami is an Indian actress known for her work in Tamil Malayalam Telugu and Kannada cinema. She began her career as a television host and made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Pathram in 1999. She gained recognition for her performances in Tamil films like Vanavil Samudhiram and Virumandi and in Malayalam films like Njangal Santhushtaranu Sradha and Meghamalhar. After a break during which she pursued higher education and worked as a television presenter in the United States she returned to acting in 2013.
