2025 Hyundai Venue Unveiled: Level 2 ADAS, Dual 12.3-Inch Screens Confirmed for India Launch
Hyundai Motor India has teased major upgrades for the all-new 2025 Venue compact SUV, set to debut on November 4, 2025, promising a tech-loaded refresh that elevates it in the sub-4m segment. The Hyundai Venue 2025 India launch will introduce Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a leap from the current Level 1, alongside twin 12.3-inch panoramic displays for instrumentation and infotainment, complete with over-the-air (OTA) updates. Spotted undisguised in South Korea, the facelifted model sports bolder styling with a parametric grille and sculpted bumper, blending rugged appeal with premium features to challenge rivals like Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon.
This mid-cycle update, confirmed via Hyundai's investor presentation, builds on the Venue's 5 lakh+ sales since 2019, aiming to reclaim segment leadership with enhanced safety, connectivity, and efficiency. Expected pricing starts at ₹8 lakh, the Venue 2025 could boost Hyundai's SUV portfolio, which accounts for 60% of its India sales.
The redesign emphasizes family-friendly versatility, with a revamped interior featuring ambient lighting and Bluelink telematics, positioning it as a value-packed contender in a market projected to grow 15% in 2025.
Exterior Redesign: Bolder Styling for the 2025 Venue
The 2025 Hyundai Venue sheds its familiar look for a more assertive front fascia, dominated by a larger parametric grille with intricate jewel-like patterns, flanked by slim LED headlights and C-shaped DRLs for a sharper gaze. The redesigned bumper, with integrated fog lamps and skid plate, enhances the SUV's road presence, measuring 3,995mm long, 1,770mm wide, and 1,615mm tall—unchanged dimensions but with a 5mm longer wheelbase at 2,500mm for improved stability.
Side profile retains compact proportions but gains new 16-inch dual-tone alloys and creased lines for dynamic flow, hinting at aerodynamic tweaks for better efficiency. Rear sees taillamps connected by a light bar, a sportier diffuser, and roof rails for versatility. Available in nine colors including Atlas White and Fiery Red, the Venue 2025 blends urban chic with adventure-ready stance, appealing to young buyers seeking style without compromise.
This evolution aligns with Hyundai's Sensuous Sportiness philosophy, boosting visual appeal while maintaining the Venue's 3995mm length for easy city maneuvering.
Interior Revamp: Dual 12.3-Inch Screens and Premium Touches
Inside, the cabin gets a futuristic makeover with a seamless 12.3-inch digital driver's cluster and 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment forming a panoramic dashboard, supporting wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and OTA updates for maps and software. The horizontal layout includes a redesigned center console with wireless charging and ventilated seats, enhancing comfort for five occupants.
Ambient lighting in 64 colors, a flat-bottom steering wheel with paddles, and new upholstery elevate the feel, while Bluelink connectivity enables remote AC control and geo-fencing. Boot space remains 350 liters, expandable to 1,412 liters, with 60:40 split-folding seats.
Safety features expand with 6 airbags standard, electronic stability control, and hill-hold assist. The dual screens run Hyundai's latest UI, with voice commands in Hindi and regional languages for India.
Level 2 ADAS: Advanced Safety Suite Debuts
The headline upgrade is Level 2 ADAS, transforming the Venue into a semi-autonomous SUV with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision avoidance with pedestrian detection, and blind-spot view monitor. This suite, powered by a front radar and cameras, enables hands-free highway driving up to 120kmph, a first for the segment under ₹15 lakh.
Compared to the current Level 1's basic alerts, Level 2 intervenes actively, reducing accidents by 40%, per Euro NCAP. High variants will include highway driving assist and rear cross-traffic alert, enhancing family safety.
The system integrates with the 360-degree camera and tire pressure monitoring, standard across trims, positioning the Venue as a tech-forward choice in a safety-conscious market.
Powertrain Options: Familiar Engines with Efficiency Tweaks
Mechanically unchanged, the Venue retains three engines: 1.2L NA petrol (83PS/114Nm), 1.0L turbo-petrol (120PS/172Nm), and 1.5L diesel (116PS/250Nm). Transmissions include 5MT, 6MT, iMT, CVT, and 7DCT, with FWD standard.
Efficiency improves via mild-hybrid tech on petrol variants, targeting 18-20kmpl, up from 17kmpl. The turbo-petrol pairs with 7DCT for 18.3kmpl, while diesel offers 23kmpl. All get drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) and VSM for stability.
Hyundai teases a CNG option for 2026, aligning with green mobility trends.
- 1.2L Petrol: 83PS, 5MT/CVT, 17kmpl.
- 1.0L Turbo: 120PS, 6iMT/7DCT, 18.3kmpl.
- 1.5L Diesel: 116PS, 6MT, 23kmpl.
These options ensure versatility for city and highway drives.
Pricing and Launch Expectations
Expected to launch at ₹8 lakh ex-showroom, the Venue 2025 will range to ₹13 lakh for top trims, undercutting Sonet's ₹8.5 lakh start. Variants like E, S, SX, and SX(O) will offer escalating tech, with ADAS on higher packs.
The November 4 unveil at Hyundai's Delhi showroom will include test drives and bookings, with deliveries from November 15. Festive discounts could shave ₹20,000-₹30,000, boosting initial sales to 5,000 units/month.
Global rollout follows in 2026 for Latin America and Middle East.
Competition and Market Positioning
The Venue 2025 enters a fierce sub-4m SUV arena, rivaling Kia Sonet (Level 2 ADAS, ₹8.5 lakh), Tata Nexon (5-star safety, ₹8 lakh), and Maruti Brezza (hybrid, ₹8.3 lakh). Its dual screens and OTA outshine Brezza's 9-inch unit, while ADAS matches Sonet but at lower pricing.

Nexon's EV option and Brezza's mileage appeal to eco-buyers, but Venue's Bluelink and 6 airbags standard differentiate it. With 25% segment share, Hyundai aims to reclaim from Tata's 30% via tech and style.
The facelift could drive 20% sales growth, targeting 4 lakh annual units.
Why the 2025 Venue Stands Out
The Venue 2025 blends affordability with sophistication, offering Level 2 ADAS and panoramic screens in a sub-₹10 lakh package—unmatched in the segment. Its redesign enhances aerodynamics for 5% better mileage, while Bluelink's 3-year free subscription enables remote diagnostics.
Safety scores high with 6 airbags and ESC, earning potential 5-star Global NCAP. For families, the spacious cabin and 350L boot suit urban needs.
As Hyundai's entry SUV, the 2025 Venue redefines compact mobility, blending tech, style, and value for India's discerning drivers.
