Job description
Role Objective:

Reporting to the Vice President, this role exists to undertake professional Environmental, Health and Safety support to the operations in the project site and ensure that all practices are in compliance with the regulatory norms. This position is also responsible for coordinating and conducting regulatory duties with various stakeholders.

Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

The candidate must be a:
•    A Bachelor of Chemistry/Bio Chemistry or Diploma in Civil or BE Environmental Engineering/Management.
•    Freshers or Experience persons who are willing to work across in INDIA will be preferred. Food and accommodation will be provided.
•    Immediate Joiners preferred.
•    Any other relevant qualifications in relation to Industrial Safety is desirable.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi and Tamil. Any other regional languages would be a plus.

The candidate will be based at the Companys various sites and must be willing to relocate throughout the country upon deputation.

Responsibilities:
•    Responsible for maintaining the onsite laboratory at the designated project site.
•    Prepare, review, and update environmental, health and safety investigation reports to the HO.
•    Must be responsible for conducting of medical checkups to the employees as per the companys policies.
•    Must co-ordinate with the laboratories, research agencies as assigned by the HO for months, weekly and daily tests required to be conducted.
•    Ensuring that the plant adheres to all the principles of SWM Rules 2016, CPHEEO guidelines, CPCB Guidelines and OHSAS standards.
•    Obtain, update, and maintain plans, MOUs with aggregate buyers, and standard operating procedures.
•    Monitor daily aggregate quality before disposal at the sites.
•    Collect samples, analyze data and do quality-control checks.
•    Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs, Personal Protective Equipment implementation and unauthorized entries.
•    Lead the local IEC activities with NGOs, neighborhood and Public Interest Litigators.
•    Responsible for handling EHS management system and presentation of the same during dignitary visits.
