Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) is a non-profit organization established in 1992 with the aim of empowering underprivileged youth in India by promoting entrepreneurship. It was founded under the guidance of Lakshmi Venkatesan, the daughter of former Indian President R. Venkataraman. BYST is committed to helping young individuals, particularly from economically weaker backgrounds, start their own businesses by providing financial support, mentorship, and business development guidance.
BYST has supported the establishment of thousands of micro and small enterprises, creating jobs and uplifting families from poverty. The organization operates across various states in India, with a strong presence in both urban and rural areas.
