Storyline

In the quiet town of Maybrook, seventeen children mysteriously vanish at exactly 2:17 a.m., leaving only Alex Lilly behind as the sole survivor. Through shifting perspectives of townsfolk—a grieving father, a teacher, a cop, and others—the horrifying truth is revealed: Alex’s dying aunt Gladys, a witch, has trapped the children in her home to feed on their life force. In a chilling climax, the children rise against her, breaking free from her dark spell. Though the town is scarred forever, Alex carries the haunting memory as he moves forward in search of a new beginning.
