Storyline

Velu (Shanmuga Pandian), a humble potter and mahout from Sethumadai, lives happily with his father, sister, and their beloved elephant Maniyan, who is more family than animal. Their peaceful life is shattered when a ruthless priest, Thilagan, abducts Maniyan for a sacrificial ritual in Odisha. Determined to save his companion, Velu embarks on a dangerous journey through forests and hostile lands, facing betrayals, fierce enemies, and deadly challenges. With courage, love, and unexpected allies by his side, Velu fights against all odds to rescue Maniyan, proving the unbreakable bond between man and animal and triumphing over evil.
