FAQ

The film explores deception, revenge, and redemption, showing how two very different men are bound together by fate on an emotional yet action-packed journey.

The title refers to the golden deer from the Ramayana, symbolizing deception and illusion—just like the hidden truths behind the characters’ lives.

Fahadh Faasil plays Dhayalan (Dhaya), a thief, and Vadivelu plays Velayudham (Vela), an Alzheimer’s patient with a secret past.

It is a mix of drama, thriller, action, and fantasy symbolism, with emotional depth and strong performances.

The official tagline is “The Hunt Begins Today.” However, it also resonates with fantasy-action styled lines like “He may forget faces, but he never forgets justice.”

While many gave up hope, Maresan worked tirelessly, digging a well with his own hands and gathering support from the villagers. His determination inspired everyone, and together they managed to bring water back to their land. Because of his courage and selflessness, Maresan became a symbol of hope, teaching everyone that even in the hardest times, unity and kindness can change lives.
