Storyline

Badava follows Velan (Vimal), a mischievous youth whose lazy lifestyle frustrates his village, pushing him to Malaysia for work—only to fail and return empty-handed. A rumor that he has struck lottery wealth transforms him overnight from a troublemaker into a respected leader, forcing him to shoulder unexpected responsibility. With his friend (Soori) by his side, Velan confronts the tyranny of a greedy brick kiln owner (Ramachandra Raju) and the ecological dangers of Seemai Karuvelam trees. Blending humor, village life, social awareness, and mass moments, the film tells the inspiring story of how a carefree youngster evolves into a man who fights for his people and earns the title of a true leader.
