Urvashi is a celebrated Indian actress in the South Indian film industry. Known for her exceptional comic timing and emotional performances, she began her career as a child artist in 1979 and rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s. She has acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films and has appeared in over 700 movies. Urvashi won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Achuvinte Amma in 2005 and has received multiple Kerala State Film Awards and Filmfare Awards South.
