Revathi is an acclaimed Indian actress director and social activist in Tamil Malayalam Telugu and Hindi cinema. She made her debut with the Tamil film Mann Vasanai in 1983 which became a major success and established her as a talented performer. Known for her expressive acting and versatile roles she has appeared in landmark films such as Mouna Ragam Anjali Thevar Magan Marupadiyum Kilukkam and Devasuram. In addition to acting she has directed films including Mitr My Friend and Phir Milenge which received critical acclaim.
