Rajasulochana was a renowned Indian film actress and classical dancer who made a remarkable contribution to South Indian cinema. She was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and began her artistic journey as a trained Bharatanatyam dancer before entering the film industry. Rajasulochana made her acting debut in the Tamil film Gunasundari Katha and went on to appear in more than 250 films across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages. Known for her elegance, expressive performances, and dance skills, she shared screen space with leading actors such as M G Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, N T Rama Rao, and Rajkumar. She later founded Pushpanjali Nritya Kala Kendram in Chennai to promote classical dance among younger generations.
