Prem Nazir was a famous Indian actor who mainly worked in Malayalam cinema. Nazir started his career as a stage actor, and in 1952, he acted in his first film, Marumakal. Prem Nazir holds two Guinness World Records: for playing the lead role in a record 725 films and for playing opposite the same heroine in 130 films. In 1983, the government of India honored him with the Padma Bhushan. In the Malayalam film industry, Prem Nazir is known as Nithiyaharitha Nayakan, which means Evergreen Hero. Prem Nazir won his only Kerala State Film Award in 1981. Prem Nazir acted in 40 films in double role characters. Nazir died due to measles on 16 January 1989 at the age of 62.Abdul Khader
