She holds a BA degree from Mar Thoma College and began her acting career in 2003 with the Malayalam film Manassinakkare. Over the years, she made her mark in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema with successful debuts in Ayya (2005), Lakshmi (2006), and Super (2010), respectively.With a film career spanning two decades, Nayanthara has acted in over 75 films and emerged as one of the highest-paid actresses in India.
