Manjeri Narayanan Nambiar was born on March 7, 1919, in Cannanore, Kerala, India. Nambiar predominantly worked in Tamil cinema and appeared in a few Malayalam films. He was famed for his iconic villain roles on screen. Nambiar's first film was Bhaktha Ramadoss in 1935, where he played a comedian, and Sudesi in 2006 was his last movie. He acted in more than 1,000 movies and won the MGR Honorary Award in 1990. Nambiar was the main villain to MGR from the 1950s to the 1970s, and some of the famous ones include Enga Veettu Pillai, Aayirathil Oruvan, Nadodi Mannan, Naalai Namadhe, Padagotti, Thirudathe, En Annan, Kaavalkaaran, and Kudiyirundha Koyil.Manjeri Narayanan Nambiar.
