Jayalalithaa Jayaram popularly known as Jayalalithaa was a legendary Indian actress and political leader in Tamil Nadu. She began her film career as a child artist and made her debut as a heroine with the Tamil film Vennira Aadai in 1965. Known for her charm and screen presence she acted in more than 140 films across Tamil Telugu and Kannada languages and worked with legends like MGR and Sivaji Ganesan. Some of her most famous films include Aayirathil Oruvan Enga Veettu Pillai Major Chandrakanth and Adimai Penn. Born in Mysore Karnataka she later entered politics under the mentorship of MGR and became the leader of AIADMK. She served multiple terms as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and was widely respected for her welfare schemes and strong leadership.
